You’d probably have to wire it in, mine has the auto dimming mirror so it was plug and play for me but the box contained at least one adapter.

 

So far so good, we just got back from dinner and it isn’t too bright at night and the compass pretty much matched what the dash compass reads. The blue backlit buttons are nice, wife’s Mazda has homelink but her buttons aren’t lit. (Geeze there’s a joke hiding somewhere in that last sentence but I won’t go there!)

 

You're going to love it... I put mine in about 2 weeks ago, and was really happy to have it when it was snowing sideways this morning!

Put in my bed mat and the front bed header rail on Friday, then spent the weekend putting the SM420 back together for my project truck.

If it ever gets warm again, next up is:

 

Fahren LED lowbeams & JDMASTAR LED fogs

Headlights are DEFINITELY not as blue as they appear in the picture. Also, the "smoke" is from my vape. Yeah, I know im cool.

 

Does this work if my truck didn’t come with the homelink/garage door opener function? I have the SR5

You’d have to wire it in if you don’t have the auto dimming mirror, not sure of that process but there was at least one adapter in the box. I have the auto dimming mirror so mine was plug and play.
The homelink function is in the mirror, my truck didn’t have homelink until this install.

Will be doing a little Me-So taillight mod'n tomorrow. Actually pretty excited about this one.

 

Should be a plug and play for you too. Slide the two piece plastic wire cover out, I slid from the top toward the bottom then squeezed the bottom sides to take it off. (the top has two pieces that slide up under the headliner.) Unsnap the wire connector from the mirror, then a torx 20 bit to back out the set screw and then slide the mirror off of its mount. Install the new mirror in reverse order.

Hi guys. I’m new here. I just bought a 2020 Tacoma OR double cab long bed. Really stoked on this truck. My other truck has been my 1993 Jeep Cherokee that I’ve had since I was 16. I’ve had it almost 20 years!

I needed to get something safer for the family and I always knew Toyota trucks were great. My dad has an 88 long bed Hilux that he still drives.

Growing up, my dad took me to see the Mickey Thompson off-road stadium series trucks. Ivan Stewart was my hero growing up. I added the Retro TOYOTA racing colors to my truck as a nod to him. My first new vehicle. Lot of pride haha!
