When my dad passed that’s how it was in cleaning out the buildings. My parents owned two pawn shops, a car repair place and used to own appliance repair place. SO much crap everywhere. My mom even sold their RV. Didn’t tell me that it was going and she sold it cheap. Wanted to whoop her we wanted one and I would have bought it.

you'll have fun. not anywhere near as nice as your shop but there's lots of cool crap out here. woodworking, got it. metal work, got it, electrical work, got that too. mechanics stuff check. plumbing stuff check excess scrap metal check. reloading equipment check fishing and camping stuff check. ages range from the late 60s to the early 2000's.

I did regularly as a kid and young adult. Was amazing to be able to build or fix whatever you needed. Right now though it's just too much and I worry about leaving my wife with a mess if something were to happen to me. Kinda wanna clean it down to the things I'm most passionate about and let the rest go to someone who will make better use of it.

Ya it was a lot of work. One of the store they had we had a massive building behind it where the auto repair (buy salvage cars and fix/sell) was done. It was PACKED. I was bummed I didn’t have the ability to go and get a couple of the Bendpak lifts. We ended up having auctions to empty stuff out. Sold one of the buildings along with the business license and all. Other building had apartments above it also that had tons of crap in them from the pawn shops. :annoyed:

I can COMPLETELY understand that. It’s never easy but there was a LOT of stuff we just gave away that we knew was worth good money just to get some of it out and see someone actually use it.

Was going good. Got home from work, dropped the upper ball joint, got the lower shock bolt started and it hit me!
No thinking about it. You will find a groaner now!

It's not going anywhere. Decided to have beer with the Mrs.

I do have to trudge back to the shop. Was in too much of a hurry to turn off the lights and lock up. I didn't have a choice.

He's probably one of those turds that think a ZT with a blown motor is worth 70% what they cost new. No offence James.
