4.0 Engine with 47K miles and 3 year warranty should be here in less than 3 weeks.
40 ton of dirt and 10 ton of dirt being delivered for my back yard in less than 2 weeks (gonna rent a bobcat for 2 days and learn to use it)
Now looking for a couple pads to be poured. Anyone have cement connections? I want a 12x12 or 16 x 16 as well as a 10 x 14 pad. Maybe even more... I have no idea what cement costs with labor.

Just picked up a 2020 Off Road Long Bed, live in Surprise. I am lazy, but are there any local Taco groups? I have never been offroading and want to take the truck out, but don't want to go out by myself the first time. I have some experience driving off road, but that was a much larger vehicle in a different kind of desert.

I have gone through some of the longer adventures and it seems like these trucks are pretty much unstoppable, even stock (if you are reasonable with your expectations). I am super excited to see what she can do!

Yes, I'll vouch. He connected me with her when I was looking in the area, and she was amazing through the entire process. (and now that we've earned our kick-back...).

She would also be a great resource for helping to balance the price/commute/neighborhood quality equation.

Big thanks to Big 2 body shop, for making sure the UCA bolt is torqued properly so that it doesn’t come loose within 1500 miles....

So for the insurance folk on here, should I contact my carrier?

To enjoy the weather this past weekend wanted to open the windows in the master bedroom—discovered black mold surrounding two of the windows. Additionally, I've got a decent leak in the hall bath that is coming through the area surrounding the exhaust fan.

Is this something I have to bite the bullet on and cover out of pocket, or should homeowners cover this?

    Thanks,

    always a tough decision.

    1. fix it yourself out of pocket.
    2. pay your deductible and have a claim on your report that would most likely increase your premium.

Im dealing with a somewhat similar situation right now. Im up in the attic hooking up the exhaust pipe for my new master bath fan and I notice what appears to be some moisture on the underside of the roof underlayment. I think its odd but move on because theres no mold. Then Im doing my laundry a few days later and notice a drop of water coming out of the light fixture in the ceiling. Back into the attic I go (it had been raining) and sure enough there is moisture coming through. Also notice there is a little white mold showing up on the underlayment. So I have a roofer come out he tells me Ive got some flashing around penetrations that is failing and some shingles that are failing as well. In two years time(since I bought the house) bird shit has eaten away at the asphalt shingles to the point where water is making it all the way inside the house. So I ask him and ask my insurance company what to do and it turns out that, no surprise, "lack of maintenance" is not something covered by insurance. As if I didn't already hate pigeons enough, Im on the hook for $4000 to replace half my roof.

Thats fun as a stress reliever but it doesn't actually accomplish anything. There are so many of them and they are so dumb they just come right back.

I worked at a restuarant where we ran fishing line above our outdoor patio and it kept birds far away. Maybe you can rig something up on the roof

    Getting excited about... well life!
My previous post about the engine... wrong. The very next day I got the opportunity to to buy an 06 with under 39K miles and a 5 year warranty for a couple hundred more. I took the opportunity!

My rocks and dirt will be here THIS WEEK. Looks like I'll learn to operate a Bobcat this weekend.

My 14x14 patio and entire side yard get cemented 30 and 31 March.

To top it off, I'm taking Janee (GF) to Buffalo NY 4/3 thru 4/7 to meet my family. Both of my daughters (already met Janee) are meeting us there!

When I get back... I'd like to throw a TW get together here.
