Wanted to take a second to review these bumpers. Morgan knocked it out of the park with these things. Delivered way quicker than quoted, great customer service, well made instructions, excellent build quality/fit and I wish I had photos of how well these things were packed for shipping!

Thanks again, I would recommend your products any time! 10/10

Still need to clean up the cuts and adjust the gaps on the front bumper.

So, I think I was probably the first person here with the non prototype high clearance bumper and probably the first one to get rear ended with it on.

3 car pile up. Lexus shoved the corolla hard into me.

No damage to the bumper as far as I can tell aside from the paint and the rubber on handle being ripped. Just a testament as to how well built these are.

Really liking this bumper. Whats the lead time and can you remove the swingout or add it later?

Current lead time is 8-10 weeks.
The swingout is removable, but there are brackets welded to the bumper that will be visible. The rear can be ordered without the swingout as well, but you cannot order the swingout later on as they need to be built together. https://athfab.com/product/2016-toyota-tacoma-high-clearance-rear-bumper/

Got the pleasure of meeting Morgan earlier this week when I picked up my bumper from his shop, already got it back from powder coating in less than 24 hours! Now just waiting for the weather to warm up a bit before chopping! Excellent service and excellent products

Rented some shop space to get my HC rear bumper installed this weekend. Kind of a cool concept - you pay by the hour to use their lift, they recycle stuff for you, has heaters, etc. Definitely nice for Oregon bipolar weather.

Going over the instructions and, if I'm not mistaken, it looks like I can mostly follow the bumper removal in this video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7ShHolbjxc

Once the bumper + hitch are off I think the instructions are pretty clear. Luckily I don't have the backup sensors so it should be a bit quicker than the video.

I ordered my bumper and it arrived in about 10 business days. It's been sitting for almost a month so I'm pretty excited to start chopping :sawzall:

Yeah, their video pretty much covers it as far as bumper removal. I pull the whole thing with receiver in one shot but you can do it separately like they did too.

Gonna be delayed a bit more. Had it PC’d locally and someone must have dropped it when packaging it back up :(

That's why im using coating from a can. You cant touch up powdercoating yourself. Ive powder coated many things but something that will touch things , i wouldnt do the bumper. Cant wait to see it on though.. i got the same one

Yeah that’s a valid point but at the same time you shouldn’t be scraping your bumper unless it’s on the underside of it which could be touched up with spray paint. The guy that PCd the bumper is real cool. He’s done lots of work for my family so he’ll take care of it. Just a bummer I have to wait longer.
