Just received this seal from an Amazon order.
Its supposed to be a "Genuine Toyota 90311-41007 Type-T Transfer Case Oil Seal"

Can I trust this seal to be OEM as advertised? I've attached a picture of the way it arrived. There was no packing slip from a Toyota dealer like most of my previous amazon orders that claimed to be Toyota OEM. There was merely a clear ziplock stye bag with the seal in it. Ive taken the best picture I could of the seal.

It is marked with: NOK 10.1 BG3657E

Question: who did you order from (i.e. who was the seller - a dealer?)

As far as packaging, I've gotten seals like that from dealers, so it seems like it could be OK.

    Top vs. bottom?

Could be wrong seal as well. But still might be OEM, which is OP's question (so really, there should be two questions :) )

NOK makes plenty of seals that are used for brand new auto manufacturers.
I'm not saying that specific NOK seal is the right one for where you want to use it, but I am saying I'd verify that's the correct NOK seal through cross referencing, and if correct I'd use it. NOK is quality

If you want assurance of OEM, buy from... a dealer...

Half the time they don't even correctly identify what fits our trucks, let alone if it's legitmate OEM.

I agree, why didn't you just purchased it from a Toyota dealer to insure it was OEM?

I'll be the first to admit I still order stuff from Amazon and Ebay. I got my OEM water pump/timing belt kit from Ebay, but that was only after extensive research and many many recommendations from people here, so for me that's definitely the exception to the rule. Even then, I was still taking a risk. It turned out fine, and I'm sure there are plenty of people who've gotten the good stuff from Amazon, too. For critical parts, safety equipment, you're way better off getting it direct from a vehicle specialist, or as in the case of safety equipment, from a off-road supplier, rather than Amazon.

I just don't have a lot of confidence that Amazon really knows what they're selling. I've seen numerous times I'm looking at a part they say fits my truck, and I know for a fact it doesn't, and visa-versa.

Might not be OEM GENUINE but it is a NOK brand seal and those are top quality

Just an FYI, the coronavirus is not transmittable through mail order.
