    Who makes that version?
I don't want to guess how that system would behave, since the TR7 doesn't skip the #2 to get to #3 when programming feature #16.
There could be a manner if you play with the TR7 settings.

Sweet so in theory programming the tr7 to #16 would work?

80% sure...Verify for me, if no switches are pressed and you select reverse, Camera view is reverse as OEM, correct?

I’ve actually never used a jumper wire to test and at the risk of sounding lame it’s literally 1 wire and you stuff both ends in the back of the connector?

I’ll have to try this over the weekend unless I can manage extra time after work. I assumed the green would be illumination too

Yes. And since the action on the switch is not latching, do the same for the jumper wire. Place and hold the ground side of the jumper to the connector and very brief tap n release the other end. (Black to red..not the other way around) Check the camera view change, then press the switch. Then repeat the jumper wire action. Report back:)
If you like, place a longer wire to chassis ground and tap the red for same effect. It will be what the MESO knob switch will replicate. (keeping both switches as u stated)

if I’m understanding right your saying pin the jumper with the black wire then tap/release the other end of jumper with the red wire…

I’ll let you know what happens. Thank you

Now we just have to figure out how to wire it to the knob

Thanks for the writeup! I'd like to do this, so I can switch my Auto Headlight button shown here from the Meso knob. It's annoying to take my eyes off the road to find the Auto button. :annoyed: Any thoughts on how I'd make that work? I'd totally pay someone to make it plug and play (extension harness, purchase and wire to the PRC T27, plug into the Meso shift handle). :cookiemonster: Anyone?

The system is a Press to Activate, so no need for the additional TR7 module.

But relocating the dash switch function should be an easy thing.

I still say MESO should create a dual switch on each side...:):stirthepot:

I swear it feels like an on/off switch... Can anyone else confirm, please?

I'd like to remove that switch altogether, to make room for my puddle pod switch (2-low mod is already going where the ect switch is). I'd still pay anyone for an Auto Highbeam switch relocation wire that's plug n play!. ;)

After reading again the instructions to activate it, it does behave like an On-Off switch, so yes a TR7 would be needed inline with Meso's Stealth shift knob switches.

So I'm confused as to how the ECT switch is different than all the other switches? I was pumped after watching the Stealth knob video where he said you could connect pretty much what ever you like, but in reality the only plug and play switch on the dash that will work with the knob is the ECT?

ECT is a momentary switch, ie only designed to send a quick signal to the system to change a state. Many other switches such as those used for the Qi charger, high beams, or any switch that goes to a relay are designed to send a constant signal for as long as power is needed to the associated device. Does that make sense?

    This link might help https://www.herga.com/pressrelease/detail.php?aid=32&did=Latching-and-Momentary-Switches

    For reference, here's a quote

"A Momentary switch remains in its “on” state only as long as it is being compressed. Once the user removes the compression of the switch the device is no longer on. An everyday example of a momentary switch is an electric drill. Once the compression of the switch is removed the drill will stop rotating.

A latching switch needs to be pressed once for ON and again for OFF, for example a light switch. Once the lights are on, the switch can be left until they need to be turned off."
