check behind the passenger side kick panel. As in the chunk of plastic on the side of the cab by your feet door side. Just undo the 4 screws that hold the door trim down on the cab. Lift it out and the pull hard on the kick panel.

I believe that is where it is.

Far as I know all our truck have the relay. Its what sends the power to the actuator's to move.

Today I updated one of the most visible dilapidated parts for my first gen.. either you have done this yourself or you need to!!

Went from my "long term chrome conversion" weatherstrip:
    20200224_113704.jpg

To showroom floor fresh oem goodness!
    20200224_120345.jpg

Simply used this plastic putty knife under the trim to pry it up from the rear of the cab without issues. Then popped the new part in by sliding the front in first, lining up the clips, and snapping it into place.

Here is the part # for those in need 68160-04020, I sure wish all updates where this easy and sexifying!!

Today was uneventful. I bought new wipers.

But Sunday. I spent most of Sunday morning drawing flatbed ideas. :goingcrazy:

I bought new wipers recently and actually splurged on decent one's for a change, definitely worth it. I always went cheap with wipers, not like we need them a ton in socal, but even still it gets old when they don't last for crap. Got some RainX ones and they work way better than anything I've bought before...usually whatever was least expensive

I'm a big fan of the mid range. Nothing fancy, but gets the job done and isn't godawful. I'm not a picky person. They never last more than a year anyway, although they might do better now that I'm not in TX.

It's made by Raven, I'm not sure exactly what it is, I've never heard of it either. I found it on Offerup for $150. IMG-1406.jpg

Thanks man! @RobertsT4R (my son) is hella stoked. The truck is makin big steps pretty quickly (for him). Should be pretty worthy to hit the trails by the time we're ready to start going up there.

He was really stoked to buy it. But I think all the work was overwhelming to him at first. He got a great deal on it because it needed work... I told him, get a 1st Gen Taco or 3rd Gen T4R with a 3.4 and a good frame and we can do whatever needs to be done... now he's starting to believe me.

Completely agree with y'all on that, those things are very well built and very capable.
Konig Countersteer, there's a new search term for my wheel searches. Sweet:D
