Appreciate it! Lots to learn here. This will be the first time I've had the truck off road. And I'm from the flat lands of MI, so it's a bit different here. I do appreciate the input. My other option is buying a travel unit with a battery pack. Your's sounds less expensive.

The Cpap was a big hurdle for me to get past camping. We have a micro camper I outfitted with solar and dual batteries to power the cpap and fridge. There are several different options. Google camping with a cpap I don’t let it stop me

Does micro = tear drop or motor cycle type? I would prefer a trailer option over an RTT, as I don't like the idea of breaking camp if I run out of something or want to go find a trail. But finances are driving that decision due to a school loan payment. Ugh.

I’m getting ready to head to bed. Look in my signature and you can click on my camper build. You are more than welcome to come out to my house and I’ll be happy to show you some things and how I have adapted to be able to enjoy my camping. We have a blast with it and the tiny camper allows us a wonderful secure base camp so if we need something or just want to go somewhere we don’t need to break camp to do it

I have a battery pack for mine. I opted not to pay the crazy prices for the one made by the CPAP company and went with something off Amazon. I've only used it once but so far so good. I can get a link if you're interested.

Yeah, over here for some training. Crazy how much has changed since that last time I lived here. I will do my best to pour one out for everyone.

I'm not going to make it at all. I have to carry my dog into the vet. If only I was joking. She's deathly afraid of shiny floors and she's too heavy for the wife.

Thanks for the link. And the dog thing, just strange enough to be true. Hope it's a routine visit.

I have to double check to see if it is one of the new gun laws that passed, but the proposed law was to follow these guidelines from DOE. So to shoot 308 you need a 5000yd impact area beyond the berm. Shit like that.

    https://www.energy.gov/sites/prod/files/2013/05/f1/Range_Design_Criteria.pdf

Yeah. Gonna be a criminal with that one. I had a pretty decent range with a three sided berm. But the dirt has settled over the years and my neighbor's 86 acre ranch was divided up when he died and the daughter built her house on the other side of my berm. So I need to rent a skid steer and push the dirt from the side berms up to the back on to build it up. I will shoot safely but not going to let anyone else shoot there until I do. Based on the number of holes in the bases of my pepper poppers, apparently my friends cannot aim for shit.

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
It's not looking promising at this point... I'm trying to shuffle some stuff, and will let you know.
