Yeah the floor mop. This was years and years ago. Not sure if the formula has changed but back then, read up recently and it is not considered an “urban legend.” However the vet thought it was a decent possibility considering Clyde basically had a heart attack at age 2 with no other health issues. We don’t know for sure thats what it was, no evidence of it being an issue, but we play it safe no a days. Otis doesn’t get anything to eat until we look up if it’s safe or not, same goes for any cleaning products and plants.

Yeah you can't be too careful. These days those essential oils are popular with people and many of them are very toxic to cats, my wife used to have a diffuser that used essential oils but I insisted we not use it in the house anymore to be safe for the cats

I’m so sorry for your loss, it’s not easy losing them, they become such a huge part of our lives.

I think it’s manly to cry and put your feelings out there. I question those who never cry or show emotion. Plus, it feels good to let it out sometimes, especially when grieving a pet.

He is actually. He’s adjusted, and once I lay down instead of sitting up, he’ll end up kicking me in the face.

So sorry to hear this! We just hit a year from when we had to put down our 5 month old baby girl because she had FIP and was declining quickly. It’s the toughest thing we ever had to do. It just happened to be the same date our boys now were born. Things work in mysterious ways. My thoughts are with you.
Cry it out man. I spent many many nights crying myself to sleep because she wasn’t there making biscuits as we fell asleep.

So glad I have knobs instead of levers. My two beasts grab the knob and try twisting it. We lock the deadbolt every time we go outside for long periods of time worried they’ll open the damn door.

Sorry to hear that. Been down that road before. Manly or not, they're part of the family.

I blame the crying on my kid, I never cried at stuff until after my son was born.

I still haven't figured out the physics of how a cat that weighs less than a tenth of what I do can take virtually the entire bed away from me and leave me huddled in one little corner.
