There a huge article on Cochran on The Athletic just now. It’s TLDR for me regarding a strength coach (because I can’t remember the last time a top program had a collapse because a strength coach left..), but I know the bammers will wanna check it out. They do like two or three free article views per month.

 

Eh. As a fan, if you paid attention to some of the goings on, you could quickly see he was a central figure, character and helped with recruiting. I mean, a big component of getting to the next level is being physically able to do so. That isn't to say though, that there arent other S&C coaches that can do the same.

 

I just finished reading it, pretty good read (the one by Feldman and Staples, I didn't read the one by Suttles and Emerson yet). I would think its a bigger loss for Bama than a gain for us, but I guess any loss for bama is automatically a gain for us. So, hell yeah I'm happy about it.

The fun part is this year we get to see the results in September instead of December. I'm hoping to only be nursing a hangover on the ride back from tuscaloosa and not also mourning another big game loss.

I may or may not have reread that a few times and it still sounded right so I went with it. Coaches are a coaches top commodity around the coaching carosel.

 

I mean, Cochran and Smart are the two coaches who know Saban best.

Now that they are together at another team....It only makes sense that Saban would look to bring someone in that may have a little info on UGA.
