Hey everyone! Just recently traded in for a 2019 Tacoma OR DCSB with less than 14k miles on it about 2 weeks ago. Traded in a 2016 RRS Supercharged so definitely missing the power and creature comforts but love the Tacoma none-the-less. I had a 2018 Jeep JLU previously before the RRS and really missed the feeling of it so had to come back.

So far I've picked up a TRD Pro grill, bed cover and updated the lights inside and out. Couple of Amazon organizers. Most importantly seat height spacers (front and back), much more comfortable now.

I had my JLU lifted on spacers front and back with 35s and the ride wasn't great so want to do it the right way with the Tacoma from the start. Looking into Fox 2.0 or 2.5 but have been reading a lot of reviews on them and just overall confused now. I want to essentially lift the truck enough to fit 33s. I like the plush ride of the OR and I read the 2.5 would be even better.

I'm 95% on road, especially being here in Northern Virginia. I do camping and a lot of mountain biking so my off-road aren't the worse. Hoping to get into overlanding, but nothing extreme.

Opinions welcome, will hopefully be able to post more pics soon with the mods!

Not going to lie, part of the reason I'm loving the Tacoma so much is the active forum, RR forum was dead

Make a phone call to AccuTune Offroad. They will give you great advice. They also do a custom re-valve and tune for free if you purchase it from them. Can’t go wrong with these guys.

I have heard a lot about AccuTune, I'll have to give them a call tomorrow and see what they suggest.

Thanks for the welcome everyone! Gave a call to AccuTune today and they were very nice and informative.

Their Stage 2 kit from Fox sure is expensive but has everything needed to properly lift these trucks. Upper control arms, Fox 2.5 w/remote res and an AAL in the rear. Thinking about pulling the trigger on it, but the sensible part of me says 2.5 is definitely overkill for what I need and should be fine with 2.0 (which might be overkill itself).

Opinions if it's better to bite the bullet all at once or do it piece by piece? I'm having a hard time finding a review of 2.0 vs 2.5 which would help my decision.

Thanks, I loved it. Drove well, quick and luxurious. Though it was capable off-road it didn't feel like it belonged there. Mine was mechanically reliable but it does not hold it's value...
