Chili dogs are good. I grew up eating them around Detroit and the chili sauce we use here is greek influenced and uses a lot of spices they use in their foods. REALLY good. Even when I was living in FL I would order it online or when someone was coming to visit they would bring some tubs of it. One of the places here sells those little meat chub with cooked down sauce in it. You add water and cook it in a sauce pan to bring it back to the right consistency. Put it on my chili dogs with onions and mustard and then some one fries along with cheese.

 

Smaller airport but we are hella busy, 2 flight schools, military comes in a lot, random planes passing thru.

 

Growing up my grandparents had a commercial coffee maker. They drank so much of it and had company over so there was always a pot or two on the warmer burners on the coffee maker.

Them Coney Island dogs in Detroit are the shit! I had 3 in one sitting last time I was there. I couldn’t place the ethnicity of the employees but now you say Greek and it makes sense. Damn you now I want one or three of them!

 

Ya when we go I usually will get either 2 or 3 and some chili cheese fries. The sauce is so different than anywhere else. Supposedly near where I was living in FL they are opening a Detroit Style Coney Island. Will have to check it out this summer when we visit.

Hope it’s as good as the actual thing. My uncle moved to Florida last year so we didn’t get to do our yearly Michigan trip, and probably won’t be doing another for a while now
