My only request is that it doesn't fall on or immediately around the 3rd weekend of Sept...got my wedding anniversary then, although I may be able to spin a Moab trip as a celebration

nah I'm one of the lucky ones in that she enjoys wheeling and camping, especially in really cool places that we haven't been to before. But the TW meetup aspect of it will be the hard sell lol.

 

@eon_blue I guess it depends on how long you've been married.

At this point, my wife (of 16 years) would just be happy if I took the kids somewhere for the weekend and gave her a spa day and a nice bottle of wine.

She'd probably be into doing a wheeling trip, just as long as it wasn't a total sausage fest the entire time.

When I brought up this trip she's like "ok, bye"

So, I'm thinking of requesting time off within the next week or so for this trip.

I'll wait until certain people chime in as really, if my truck isn't all up to snuff for some trails, I'd still like to go to hang out and camp with several people on here.

No favorites, Miguel will be working all year long...28 hours a day, 9 days a week, 6 weeks a month, 16 months a year

 

Well I need a weekend so I can take myself off the list ahead of time.

 

That's what I'm shooting for, a weekend.

Hence why I'm going to request it so far ahead of time to ensure I can have those days off.

 

A three day weekend would be better for those that have to travel, but not a on a holiday.
