w00000t - Got my yearly eval today. Got a 4 "Consistently Exceeds Expectations" . Which means I will get the max raise available. I find out what that means tomorrow, but it's probably just a bit more than cost of living. But still feelsgoodman.

 

damn, at my job, that is a 3. It means cost of living/2% of my yearly, even though the manager put in the notes that I was quicker to learn the job than the rest of the team. I should be getting more! But also, something is better than nothing.

 

Government job here, only 1 cost of living raise in the last 12 years

 

EFFF that. That's why I bounce around every couple of years. This will be the first year in the last three that I didn't get at least 15% by switching jobs.

 

No degree, was homeless from age 19-20.

All of my experience is in warehousing, road construction, public works, and guitar center.

 

It’s crazy how different it is working for one government to another. Main reason I’m up in Minnesota instead of Iowa. I get cost of living every year and a raise for each year of employment.
