1.25" Spidertrax on a BBP Limited. Stock suspension 18" wheels, nothing has rubbed so far.

I just put Spidertrax 1.25's on mine today. It improved the look and stance big time. I think if you are running the stock rims and already got your tires.......its a decent solution. Im upgrading to 17" rims and tires in about 50,000 miles (or less) and will get the tire "poke" with the proper backspacing of the wheel itself. For now though , the Spidertrax look amazing and Im really liking what Ive seen and heard about the spacers. On another note...Its a bummer that its so hard to find a 16" rim that clears our brake calipers....If you like the 16" look you are just about forced into wheel spacers. Merry Christmas y'all !!

I asked this in another wheel spacer thread but didnt get a reply. Do spacers let you put front chains on without rubbing on your front wheel gear?

I tried the 1.25” Spidertrax spacers on mine. I do have 285/70/17 km3 and a 0 offset wheel and I rubbed so bad at first that I couldn’t turn the wheel more than about 5* before I was a he’d contact with the rear of the fender well. This is with Kings leveled to match rear dakar springs (so about 2.5” of lift). I do have spc ucas so I adjusted them as far as I could and got it so that I could turn and only get some serious run but I could turn all the way. I could have probably chopped things up a bit and pounded the pinch weld flat but didn’t care to get in to it that much at this point so I pulled them and sold them. I loved the more aggressive stance they gave and may eventually try some spacers again in the future when I want to get in to a body mount relocate.

Loved the look of my 2016 with stock wheels, 285/75/16 Cooper ST MAXX tires and 1” BORA spacers.

I would think other than spacing your tires out from the control arms, in all other aspects it would make it less likely to be able to run chains. Spacing your tires out like wheel spacers do, it puts your tires much closer to your rear wheel fender. If you had stock wheels/tires, increased your camber (which may mean spc adjustable uca), you may be able to add chains. This is just my personal theory, never having run chains on my taco but have installed spacers.

I haven’t taken any recent pictures but I found some older ones with different angles. Let me know if you’d like to see anything specific.

Last winter I had to tow a friend to a safe spot but here it is on an angle(and with a light out).

Congrats! Go for it! You’ll have to let me know how you like the rokblokz with that set up. I have just some simple ones I picked up from a local store but I cracked one kicking ice off. I can’t make up my mind on what to put on there next so it’d be nice to see that set up.

2017 Sport. Stock wheels, 265/70/17 and no lift. Minor rub on the plastic on bottom of the wheel wells. A heat gun, dremel and 1/2 hour and all is good.

Finally got my 2in bora spacers on with rokblokz mudflaps thanks again! Here's some quick pics I took. I'm stock with stock sized tires 265/70R16 Nokian Rotiva ATs zero issues with rubbing with daily use and occasional curbs and full turns but if i were to offroad this way there would be carnage I'm sure but perfect for my needs and love the look 20200225_181744.jpg 20200225_161620.jpg 20200225_161549.jpg 20200225_161611.jpg

What size tire are you running and which spacers did you get. Looks good

damn that looks really nice. too bad there would be carnage when wheeling though, so I think I'll just stick with 1.25s.
