Definitely one of the coolest looking tires available. It’s an odd choice, IMO, for a vehicle that never leaves pavement.

Do your tires have the “Armor-Tek” 3 ply sidewall or is that reserved for the E load version?

Not sure never looked, I don't wheel but it does go in the woods often for my kids scouting trips.

They ride nice and soft? If they have the 3 ply sidewall like the E load Pro and ST maxx that might be just about the perfect compromise tire.

Just ordered the Nitto Ridge Grapplers from Discount Tire while they had an $80 discount. I'm really looking forward to having them mounted on the new TRD 4Runner wheels I just purchased.
They're supposed to be ready for me to go in tomorrow and have mounted, but we'll see.

    Cheers

Yes. Pretty stiff compared to the WRANGLER ALL-TERRAIN ADVENTURE WITH KEVLAR which were 15 lbs lighter per tire. After 9 punctures in 1.5 years, I decided I needed the load E tires. Gas mileage also suffers. My mail carrier does 50,000 miles a year on our dirt roads and recommended these. He's tried tons of tires. They work much better in the clay mud here too over the original Wranglers. Most people out where I live are running load E tires. I'm on dirt nearly 100% of the time where I live.

As soon as you change the wheels you may be looking at rubbing.

How many miles are you getting from a set ? Do you off-road a lot ? I was thinking about these for my next set . I really do not off road much .

Not sure I had my last set over a year and sold them to a member on here and they still looked new. And he's been running them a while now as well. Right @CttAznRanger

I think I've put about 7k miles on them from when I got them from you. So far they run well. Minus that strange mishap that one time.

Very nicely, and quickly. Also, don't quote me on that 7k miles, I don't log my miles so that estimate may be WAY off.

You get enough bad weather up there to warrant something like this I would suspect. Plus the added street cred at the mall.

A coupe things I've learned about Rick over my 3 years. Just about nothing stands in his way, and once he has made up his mind, you can take it to the bank. Oh, and I didn't think anyone was a fickle as me.

Which I bought, and will likely go get this weekend. They're on the TW Express so they could be in transit. :notsure:
