I recently bought and installed a $170 dollar exhaust. I have a 2016 4cyl Tacoma. The exhaust is from DNA motor sports.

Heres how it looked shipped to my house and a side by side comparison of the two exhausts.

It doesn't sound like a honda civic straight piped ricer but it is way louder than stock. You will hear it in the cab and it will pop when you hit the rev limiter. If you're on the fence about exhausts ask yourself if you're ok with a louder exhaust. If not then dont buy this. Also I get alot of comments from people thinking it's a V6 with an exhaust so that's a good comparison ig. Every time I try to upload a video the site denies it.

had anyone ever actually reported factual performance gains besides the noise on a cat back muffler? I guess if it sounds faster it must be faster lol

Personally, I prefer a nice deep tone without a drone as opposed to just LOUD. It's easy to make your vehicle just LOUD.

I've never seen any and that's probably because there isn't any measurable HP/power gain from just replacing the muffler. The TRD cat-back does seem to give the illusion of more power even though it doesn't.
