Cooper Discoverer A/T3 megathread?

Baby got new shoes. 2857516XLTs . Love em. Went old school , letters out. Quiet. Took almost no weight to balance em. 6112s set at 5 with a HS spacer for taco lean. 5100s with a 1 inch rear block. Doing an AAL one day. But it rides so good now and it's level. No rubbing. Tons of room
By the way , the lift was done a year ago. The new tires replaced some 265 Toyo AT3s.

 

My OCD made me move the White Letters In. Just too much going on. Hands Down , the best tires I have ever purchased

 

Dang the XLTs look awesome. What have you done to your truck in order to fit those?

Nope. Lots of clearance actually. Very happy. A better shot of my clearance is my pics of the white letters out.

 

I was a white letter guy in my distance past but those days are long gone.

285/75R16 XLTs Zero rubbing. I’m surprised and ecstatic!

 

Going in on a set of 265/75/16 4S tomorrow, definitely fits my current use-case for the taco. Looking forward to the upgrade over stock!

Edit: Haven't left the pavement yet, but these things are buttery smooth. Had them aired to 35 cold at installation, I can't tell a difference in road noise over stocks, but definitely feel the difference in grip (although, my stocks were very worn down at 45k on them). Loving them!

 

I’m glad to hear you guys with 285/75/16 XLTs aren’t rubbing. I’ve been hesitant to move up to that size but the XLT actually runs pretty small at 32.56”. Maybe it’s just wishful thinking but I’m really not into dealing with a bunch of fitment issues. I saw the XLTs at the alignment shop the other day and they look great in person.
