Ah ok. He just came with speed down the left wall to get behind almost everyone put the puck between Carlson's legs, picked it right back up and then beat Holtby short-side. Was pretty nice. And ya, Dillon for sure made a statement, going after him. That was funny. I really hope we meet in the playoffs. It would be a great series and be pretty nasty, like always.

That Nylander goal last night was also very sweet. Leafs looked good, from what I saw. Blues/Hawks was pretty wild also.

    ummm .....ya.
If it were up to me (clearly its not) good ol Willy would still be in Sweden eating meatballs and playing in a beer league with his Dad! Total bullshit what he pulled, it was his old man driving the bus on that move. I don't care if he can score the odd highlight goal.
It was Dubas' who let him get away with it and paid the ransom....now anyone with half a brain could hold out for more money. No wonder I can't afford to go see the Leafs play! Well I can if I drive to Detroit or Buffalo!!!

Lol I mean, I probably would not have given him that contract. But like I said earlier, I was critical of him at the time but I ate my words a little bit this year. He's been a lot better than I expected of him.

    Right on

True that AJ. When he came back from Sweden in December, he stunk the place up. This year, admittedly, he has done a lot better.
If he could play more of a "two way" game like last night I'd be jumping on the Willy bandwagon!

That's the third goal like that in the last week (Matthew Tkachuk and Kyle Connor) so a big MEH from me. Routine ass shit barley worth setting down my beer for a golf clap.

Lol it's definitely not such a big deal fans make it out to be but it's a sick move to pull off. Being on Vasilevsky makes it even tougher

You golf clap in front of the TV? Don't get sour because the Jets don't get much TV time apart from the dramatics they've been a part of this year that the media loves.

I don't care who does it, it's still a sick goal. I agree that goalies will compensate for it just like they did for lacrosse style goals. Speaking of which my oldest tried box Lacrosse for the first time last night. Looks like she's hooked.

It's supply and demand. I paid $1,400 for four Oilers tickets in their first game right after the all star break. Popular teams/games will always be out of the average guys reach as long as companies like the one I work for are willing to shell out over $300 a ticket to entertain clients. Live professional sports as family entertainment died in the 1990s. Toronto is just at the extreme of the pricing because of the density of hockey fans and corperate money in the largest hockey market in the world.

If the ice is in good shape first half of a game I can do it pretty easy, and I'm not totally skilled. I have to do it when you go right low to the ice though. I can never just flick it on the stick like some do. That's hard as fuck
