    That reminds me of the time when I was a boy and took a shortcut across one field.
    I was pretty much smack in the middle before I realized there were a couple Holstein bulls at one end.
    Worse yet, they had noticed me and were coming my way. :eek:

    I knew enough not to run.
    It seemed like it took forever to walk that couple hundred yards to the fence.

    Holstein cows can be pretty belligerent too.
    My Mom would bring in the cows for milking.
    Usually they were right there, lined up, wanting to be milked.
    But there were sometimes a few laggards.

    Mom always carried a pitchfork when bringing in the cows.
    And had to use it, on occasion.
    One time a poke wasn't enough, and she had to brain it between the eyes, as hard as she could, with the butt end of the handle. :p

    Ever been to Roper Mountain?
    That's the living history farm outside of Greenville, SC.

    My folks were visiting me there once and we went to Roper Mountain.
    The tour guide was a young woman volunteer, obviously not farm raised.
    My Mom shot me a glance from time to time and I knew she was having a hard time suppressing her snickers.

    The tour guide was talking about the sheep when WHAM, a ram "butted" her.
    Butted, get it? :p
    Put her on her ass.

    My Mom slugged that ram on the snout with her purse and chased him off.
    Get away you bugger! :rofl:

    Inventors usually dont make much money, nor do they get much fame.


    Early adopters typcially make a bit of money and can get some recognition, but the people who make a boat load of cash and recognition are the people who come juuuuuuuuust after the early adopters and figure out a way to apply a technology or tweak it to make it more user friendly.
