Shock top hat issue, does this look right?!?!

I recently got an EMU lift installed. Issue is after lift was installed I hear a clunk when I hit bumps on passenger side.
I noticed that on the passenger side shock there is piece that seems to be missing up top. now Excuse my lack of experience and knowledge. Can someone tell me if this part missing is a bushing or mount. Or if this is even the cause of this “clunk” before I go back to the shop and complain.

 

Yes, you're missing a bushing and the washer. Head back to the installer immediately. That is a HUGE oversight.

That could get expensive, I really don't know how a shop could miss that.
On another note, please change the title, help is generally used for people stranded.

 

My brother had a land cruiser specific shop install a lift on his land cruiser. They left the top of one shock completely undone. No bolts. This is why I work on my own shit!

 

I would change your title from a vague "help please!". The "Help" is reserved for people legit stranded who need assistance.

 

It will a bitch to get that nut off now. I'm sure all of the forces applied to it has seized it to the threads

I'd highly recommend a replacement of that coilover... Or a damn good EXTENDED warranty. It's hard to know what kind of damage may have occurred.

Yeah looks like the company you hired to do the work provided workers not skilled in the tasks assigned to them.

You changed it, but the "help" alone is almost as bad . Couldn't just write "input on troubleshooting lift install" or something. Probably help with additional constructive feedback from people skimming topics too...

 

Maybe he is stuck/stranded now.
