What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

You are correct they just replace the grey bug catcher in the bottom corners closest to the grill. But you have to remove your grill and losen the bottoms of the flares and bumper so you can access the two screws. Takes no longer than an hour which is probably long but I had to go back and forth between YouTube and my truck to see why something's were stuck. Just need more force, even though the videos look so easy.

 

We've all put stuff in when it was too cold because we didn't want to leave it sitting around. Then something broke off and we wished we would of waited for a warmer day.

Lol. I try not to look as his site. I'm afraid I'll just find more stuff that I can't live without. Houses are first but it seems that Tacomas come in 2nd as one of the biggest money pits out there. I'd have a lot more spending money if I had never found this site!

I do mine every 3500 LOl and I put about 300 miles a week on my truck, so that's about every 3 months in-between oil changes.

 

Hey that's where I bought my truck at. Good people and service over there. Shoot the parts guy and hit it off so well we plan to go shooting sometime.

 

It’s a Toyota, 100k and 200k are the only oil changes needed. Sorry if the rest of you assholes hate the environment.

 

N2 remote start is a great product.

Yeah, every 3500 is excessive with synthetic oil but 100,000 is stupid. Not to mention warranty voiding

 

Won't void the warranty unless it causes a failure. I know, I know, tough battle over that. But it is win-able. Toyota recomends a 10k oci, not requires.
