My 2019 Tacoma TSS 2wd build specs:

Front Suspension: Bilstein 5100 on top ring
Rear Suspension: Bilstein 5100 with Maxtrac 1.5 inch block
Wheels: TSS factory 17x8 +12 offset
Wheel Spacers: Spidertrax 1.25 front and rear
    Tires: Nitto Ridge Grapplers 285/70R17

Rides smooth and a little firmer than stock which I prefer. Slight rub on plastic inner fender in reverse. Still has plenty of power while cruising around town.

    Thanks for looking!

Great looking truck! How’s your mpg off a full tank?

I actually just bought a Tacoma with TSS package. It’s called an SR Special Edition when you look at the dealership websites. I believe it’s only in Texas, or the south region. You can get V6 or 4 cyl. TSS package is a Tacoma SR with added accessories such as 17” black wheels, running board, black exhaust tip, rubber floor mats, etc... to make it look cooler. It’s pretty much buying the base model that looks badass!

Didn’t know TSS was a thing, I guess it’s kinda like the XP package:notsure:
Then again I did just get back from Texas, they do have Texas Edition Everything down there.

Had a Soldier argue with me about it,
    I lost

Dude payed 38k for some 2WD SR5 4runner in Georgia with a “special” XP badge and package. Must be a regional thing I guess.

SR 5-Speed work package was my first pick, definitely should have stuck to that.

I am in Arkansas, so I I think it must be a south region package. About a $3500 option if I remember correctly, but they were running incentives that knocked $3000 off it earlier this year. Great deal if you are going to add these options aftermarket anyways.

Exactly! I don't plan on going off road and there's no mountains here in Houston so I went with 2WD 4 cyl. I was able to purchase for 30k including fees and taxes. Planning on leveling with bigger tires in the future for slightly aggressive stance.

That blacked out look is awesome on your TSS! The 4 banger does ok with the stock 4.30 gears and 33's and I usually manually shift when running county roads. As for the 2wd I have been all over the ozarks and rockies without issue in mud and snow. A good MT tire makes all the difference, just don't plan on doing any deep mud or rock crawling. :)

I'm thinking of going with the exact build on mine and seems to be affordable. How much did it cost you, including parts and labor? Can you post more pictures of your truck? It looks badass! I'm curious to see how much of the tire sticks out on the side with the 1.25 wheel spacers. Thanks.

I would recommend it and it rides very well. The price break down would be approximately:
    Shocks and Struts $350
    Wheel Spacers $200
    Tires $800
    Installation $500
    Alignment $65

I sold the stock Nitto's for $500 to cover the cost of the installation, so my out of pocket was only $1415.
I will try to get some more pics for you. I would say the tires poke out about an 1 inch or so. They don't throw mud all over the side, so just about right.

Sorry I forgot to add the Maxtrac 1.5 rear leaf spacers. They were $50 and make the truck perfectly level front to back.

Thanks for the price break down. I'm excited for this build bro. Do you get any vibrations or shaking at higher speeds?

No vibrations at all, but make sure you spend the extra $$ for good wheel spacers. Don't use the cheap ones. I can set the cruise at 70mph and it runs very smooth and I am driving to NM next week. This small lift does not affect the tss module either. Going from a 30 inch tire to a 33 makes the mph and mpg read 10% lower, but I just do that math in my head. You can buy a device to correct this, but I haven't done that yet. Just remember at 50mph you are going 55mph and if the mpg says 18 it is actually close to 20.

Any updates? How are you liking it after 1 year?

I'm researching and thinking of doing a similar lift to my 4 cyl SR5

I have put about 16k miles on it and it has performed perfectly. I drive about a mile on a dirt road every day and it soaks up the bumps very well. Also, I have taken it out to NM and CO for a couple of hunts and it handles the interstate at 75 mph as well as a off-road. For the money I have been really impressed. I would say go for it!

4cyl 4 door with 285/70/17s, no regear?? And it handles the highways and even Colorado roads okay?

that’s amazing if so about to do something simalar with my sr5 access cab 4 cylinder automatic but was worried how slow it’ll be afterwards.
