Trolly car though town used to be called the Gold Rush, now it is the Gold Line since they added tracks a few years back

 

I have been to/in Reed Gold mine.
Packed a 3" suction dredge into the woods there and got caughtafter a couple days.
Lots of good placer Gold still in NC.

Back from the Country Store.
The owners smoke house was hit over the weekend and his dog was mutilated. The door was torn off from outside. Board and batten 2" Oak clad in old metal print sheets.
Items missing. Smoked hams and pork bellies, Barrell of salted Codfish, Cabbages, Carrots, Apples, Canned Peaches, Dogs eyes and innards, Smoke house door also missing.
Left behind were bags of salt, empty barrels, broken Peach jars, dog collar and light bulbs.
Items left behind by Perpetrator.
Bone handle hand forged knife in beaded leather sheath.
Powder horn with leather strap.
Leather pouch of lead Minae balls.
Large Corn liquor jug with cork.
Horrendous stench of rotten eggs.

 

Propane delivery driver said lots of gas leaks reported but all leak tests were negative and the smell was way too strong for propane and smelled different also.

to me it looks to be like the spider was packing a mean desert eagle on his waist or he used a massive hole cutting drill bit to punch that one out
