I had stage 3 in mine rode fine got a good amt of lift and could haul plenty with them. Best springs for a big constant load IMO.

Bumper right now. Thinking about a drawer system

Edit: I currently have All-Pro Expo HDs that are basically like the stage 2 deavers so there won't be a huge difference for me ride quality wise

How much lift are these supposed to provide?

I am likely going with u402 stage 2s, but want your insights, please - I have extended travel shocks, RTT, softopper, full height aluminum bed rack, decked drawers with recovery gear, rear steel bumper with spare tire, full skids including gas tank. I usually don't haul much in the bed (on top of drawers), but for camping and overland trips, there could be a couple hundred more pounds. Right direction? Seems like stage 3 would be an aweful ride when I don't have anything in the bed.

well heres my thoughts. seems like you drive around with 250ish pounds back there all the time. the stage 1 is made to maintain a 2 in lift with up to 300lbs. over that it will sag about a .25 of an inch per 100lbs. moving to stage 2 will be full 2 inches from 300lbs to 600. less will ride higher and stiffer and once agian will sag after 600. wen i spoke to Deaver i said i was basically going to run waht you had and recommended the stage 1. but gave this advice- daily on a stage 1 will ride better. if you overland at say 400ish lbs add a small .25in shim on the axle to get the full ride height back under load and ride slightly higher on the daily. to me that was a great alternative to having a stiff ride on the reg.

I had a completely empty bed with stage 3s other than a cap. They rode fine. The thing is they are a very progressive spring pack so they are fairly soft until you start adding weight then thats where they shine to support it. You have a fairly heavy truck is suggest the stage 3s for your truck definitely.

as you can see there is no one way to do this. all options work its just what works for you. the other thing i can offer is i can get you a quote on the RTX system from Icon. that comes with all 3 stages and you can try each and find what works for you.

    I think it's more like 600 lbs.
