Ah there’s a mgm sport in my complex. Plasti dip is cheap and you can’t tell the difference from an oem flare or a dipped flare

I had a plastidipped grill for 2 years and it held up. Some chipped off after that time frame but that’s because I didn’t put enough coats on it(I was inpatient). I’m pretty sure there’s a thread for plastidipped flares

I'm not a huge fan of plastidip personally, but if you do it right it will hold up. Prep the surface real good and spray many thin coats

People put it on their wheels and are happy. Obviously if you only put one coat you will not be happy but if you take your time, and the better part of a sunny, windless day, and put like 6 or 7 coats, then a couple coats of the glossifier, for less than $20 you'll be very pleased with yourself.

I did my grill on my 17' like this and it lasted 2 years and 30k miles and only had two pin hole marks from stones. I hit a dove at 40 mph and it dented the grill but the plastidip was unfazed.

If you don't think you'll ever want to sell them after doing it, or change your mind to go back there is a bed liner product I have used that is permanent and will be able to stand up to a lot of abuse. It's sold at Harbor Freight. It comes in a roll on and a spray can.

here's what the spray looks like on a shovel

    20190316_202604.jpg

It has a lot more texture to it and more sheen too.

Morning everyone! Brother from across the river. Just wanted to throw this out there...
My buddy in Frostburg just picked up a 3rd gen 4runner that we're. Going to be building back up, im looking for some front bucket seats out of a taco, 4runer or scion preferably, but I think as long as it's toyota family should be no problem.
I did ask the craigslist finders already, but just in case anyone here knew of something. The less$ the better.
@AR15xAR10 is already on board to led a hand, @68dave hoping you may have some lead.

So thank you guys for the help, hope to see some of you next time NOVA heads to Green Ridge!

Y'all ain't never gonna believe this.....my chainsaw lives again! Got the rest of it back together yesterday afternoon. Mixed up some fresh 50:1 plus some extra oil for break in. Coughed on the third pull, then took a few more pulls to get going. It liked to start with throttle only like my other Stihls. The only other part I need is an intake book. I put a really small tear it mine when I put it back together. Pretty stoked this worked out for like $50-60. We'll see how long this top end lasts.
