Taco Garage

Did very little research and went with the Taco Garage grill. Ordered on Sunday 2/23/2020. Just wondering what to expect? Have not received shipping notification or any communication. Sent an email today, haven't heard back. Please don't tell me this is a fake site.

 

He's not fake. He's not the best at getting back to you, but he will. I don't have his grille, but I've read some good things about them. He also made a YT video comparing his to the "competition." I've purchased from him before. Been happy.

 

Yes, it’s real and it’s good. But it seems once a month or so he gets a little behind on orders and isn’t great at replying. But eventually he will and products are quality. Just had big sale and orders on the dmm so that probably got things pretty busy. Hang in there.

 

Very high-quality grille. Bought mine with the OEM garnish. I did not have any communication with him until I got an email about a week after my purchase that it had been shipped. Shipping took around 5-7 days (can't remember), but that was because it was coming across the country.

 

I have his grill, he’s local so I was able to pick up. Had it for a year and a half and the quality is great. No issues so far

 

it's only been two whole biz days, not everyone is Amazon

 

Thanks for the responses. Just wanted to make sure. For the price, I don't mind a little wait. Beats a $350 oem grill. Just wanted to make sure my credit card wasn't out on the inter webs.

 

Exactly why I was asking. Don't want to take any drastic steps. I've had issues before with another site. If it is a one man operation I understand and is actually why I ordered from him. I would rather help out one man with his business than help Amazon get bigger.

 

Warn us... what's the "other site"?

 

Nothing to do with Tacoma sites and not a "wish" type site. Actually a fake site that completely mimicked my credit union. Looked exactly the same, but the url had something in it to redirect.

 

Great grille. Mine just showed up one day. No tracking info or anything.

 

Coronavirus the Chinese aren't working so no grill

 

Like others have said , not the best at communication but the grill is nice. First one had a bad garnish and he sent me another grill. Have had zero issues now

 

Just installed the grille/garnish I ordered about a week before last christmas. Wasn't in a hurry figured Ill just get it when shows up. too my surprise it was at my door step dec 24th very impressed with the customer service. Had it sitting in the garage decided yesterday was as good as any to install. transferred front camera, tss sensor, the taco garage had already installed the aftermarket garnish so, didn't have to touch it. Installed grille without issue kinda tight fitting grille to cowl but some direct pressure on the area concerned allowed grille to fully seat. took it for a drive today to pick up a new TRD Pro skid plate about a 40 mile trip, ops checked good. I'm happy.

I just installed mine a week ago. Great product and also got the aftermarket garnish to go with it. I habe had not problems with tss at all either. I would definitely buy from him again

I have his grill with the OEM garnish. Good quality product and absolutely no issues.

 

Sent an email, received tracking info. Thanks for the responses. Can't wait to update the "dark chrome sport" grill on my 16. Now to hit up BAM automotive for those pro wheels.
