Lol the guys you were chatting with @slander and @Snowy put their trucks and batteries through a harder test than you with a camp light. When you use a winch to winch out of the places they ride it puts a little more stress on them so they probably go through a few batteries.

You can't compare a camping trip to winching repeatedly over things like this. I'm sure they are just a little harder on batteries, just a little bit, lol

where did you get each of those? Did you have to cut the stock hole bigger to fit them?

All of the aftermarket usb plugs Ive seen need a 1.125" hole which is just slightly bigger than stock. But Id find some that put out 4.8A, the 2.1A versions wont charge most newer phones that need quick chargers. I replaced my usb plug with another 12V socket. I'll just use an adapter that can put out more amps.

Just funny to me that someone that don't put things to the test thinks he can compare to someone that does, lol

Majority of automobile batteries in the US are made in my city by one of two companies. Deka (East Penn MFG) or Johnson Controls (now Clarios as of last year)

The rails and/or mounting feet need grinding to remove from the tracks, and I am unsure if the right track is still good with the slightly bent rail still on there impeding its motion at this time. I also don't want my truck out of commission while I try to find out!

As far as I know the 4runner "Sport" and Tacoma "Sport/SRunner" seats are very similar except for the mounting feet and the upholstery colors and patterns, so they bolt in where as 4Runner seats do not without modification. Sport seats are easy to identify by the extra bolstering, lap height adjustment, and lumbar. Oh yeah, it is power lumbar SRunner vs manual lumbar on the 4runner unless you get Limited leather seats with power adjustments too from what I know.

Kind of hard to measure seats, as they contour and get thicker towards the outside edges and bolsters. But at the top center I measure roughly just over 3 inches, then it gets fatter the lower the seat goes to maybe 5-6" or more to caress your lower spine in luxury, don't have a caliper to measure this correctly. The head rest in the center or thickest portion is about 4". Of course the bolsters are thicker.

I had tried the 4Runner seats in my regular cab, and the extra thickness in the headrest would slightly squish up against the back window in my driving position. I am 5"10 and lean back as seen below, they were working for me fit and comfort wise, just didnt like the mis-match on the fabrics. This was from a 2002 4runner with "Gray" interior, believe it or not!
    20200124_131949.jpg

Oh yeah, you cant even slide the 4Runner seat all the way back if you want to because the track trim would interfere with the seat belt trim in the single cab. See for yourself.

I would say if you are tall and/or like to lean back a bit, the 4runner seats may be a bit tight or not even work for you depending on your own seating position of course. Even the Tacoma buckets with SRunner headrests would touch the rear window too.
    20200218_091510.jpg

If you need more clearance due to tallness, the Tacoma standard bucket is thinner albeit less comfy accordingly. But I can tell you it is an upgrade from the stock full bench that came in my truck by far! The bolsters in that thing were thicker on the outside than the center, I suppose to allow someone to squeeze into the middle in case of emergency. I found myself not even centered behind the steering wheel and this was pure torture compared to the standard Tacoma bucket I am running in the meantime. And mine was in great shape, take a peek.
    20200104_143712.jpg

Hope this helps you find your way to improved ergonomics of the OEM variety!

Oddesy is what I have in my Tacoma. Well had. It’s in my Avalon. 7 years later still strong.
Have a Napa agm in the 02 Tacoma. It’s new but so far so good. And good price for an agm. (It’s not as fancy as the oddsey but as a factory replacement it’s nice)
