Something ain't adding up with your story, @Black DOG Lila. Anything able to punch a hole in your valence like that would have taken out your radiator tank. Was that dent in your chrome bumper there already? If it was some sort of munition from the (three!) helicopters there will be more damage to see. Please take additional photos of the area behind the valence and report back.

Why are armed men in full gear wearing night vision walking around in my neighborhood tonight ?

 

The only way we're going to get some real answers here is if you go back to the scene of the incident and investigate the area for evidence of explosions or expended munitions. It's possible they could have already scrubbed the site clean of evidence, but maybe you'll find their footprints or tire tracks. We can speculate until the cows come home but we need more pictures before we can get to the bottom of this!

2 loud explosions heard while 3 Helos passed was not an inference to air to ground rounds fired.

 

You need to go back to where you were when you heard the explosions and look for evidence. Looks like your truck took some shrapnel and you need to uncover this mystery and then get the gov't to buy you a new bumper!
