Recieved an urgent text from my buddy earlier tonight. "Oh shit what do we do now"
Transporter guy drove it off the side of the ramps. High centered it on the diff.

 

i would be in tears if that were my car.

 

Believe it or not we got it off with zero damage. Had to call in a tow truck with a wheel lift to do it.

 

A little red paint transfer on the bottom of the diff.

 

That would suck...was it his first day on the job lol

Hey man I started noticing bubbling starting above windscreen. What are folks doing for that? Just sand down and spray paint it to at least mitigate it?

 

Oof, it’s probably under the seal too, best thing to do is remove the windshield and clean it all up before it gets worse.

Doing what you said would help with appearances on the outside but really only act like a bandaid.

 

I went with paint. Matte finish, although I sprayed it on a little thick and it isn't as matte as it's supposed to be.

 

Did the same thing on the 4runner. That came out matte the way it should have been on the Taco. But I think I'm still going to redo it and bring it all the way to the leading edge of the hood.

Agreed. Bubbling usually means rust under the paint.

 

Don't pop the bubble unless you're ok with a rust hole

 

You need to wet sand it smooth and it will be a better matte. They also have matte clear coat.

 

Damn, $1000 to have a logo drawn up. Big oof
