    I hit a small bump in the road, and my dash lit up. All lights on. Then Scangauge said 17.1 V. No change in driving.

    Why would this happen?

    it went off after that, and voltage dropped to normal

    Idk what exactly happen, but it seems you got yourself an electrical gremlin!









    I'd definitely check your alternator wire, and wires coming in/out of the fuse box (there us a fuse "responsible" for changing voltage in there).
    I know, not much help, but I'm definitely interested in the outcome.

    I didnt do anything but might have added an alternator to my list. I also have a Singer stage 1 plug that makes it charge at 15.1v. But no issues since then.
