What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Any Personal product opinion that doesn't directly align with the crowd here end up the same way. Go read any thread on E rated tires for a good example of that. I could care less what anyone buys, I just advise people to look at other options, or share my f ups with others.

Hey man I wheeled IFS for 8yrs and put off an SAS forever, I will sing the praises of IFS anyday.

I was on OME shocks and 882 coils the whole time so it will be discredited LOL!!

 

Snorkels serve no practical purpose, other than to look cool.

 

Doesn't count at all if you didn't spend $2000 DSC adjustable shocks and $500 on UCA's. OME's are for the poors that can't afford to wheel correctly

 

this can be said for almost all “offroad” related mods

 

Don't worry I feel like I am betraying myself by finally replacing my 5100's on Eibachs.

I am in a group chat with my second gen wheeling buddies and I was telling them I love how reliable the first gen is, but also said I’m super anal about maintenance.

Oh shit, I feel personally attacked!

I think my constantly broken IFS truck with overly expensive shocks, ADD Cvs, E rated tires, non-optima AGM battery, and snorkel is pretty sweet.

 

Who would have thought maintenace leads to reliability!!!

I left my last job because my team wrote maintenace programs for a fleet of 90,000 pieces of equipment and I had the goal assigned to me of reducing maintenace man hours and increading the length between the checks while increasing reliability. So there are some exec's out there that dont get the concept either LOL!!

 

All of that is why its broke.
