PMed a couple of you already. I just got a DCSB Tacoma last fall and I'm new to the truck world. Trying to wrap my head around my gear hauling options. I'm leaning towards a tailgate pad for local rides. I'd like to get a tonneau of some sort with the ability to have a bed rack. Ideally it would close with the bed rack rack and or tailgate pad. Also needs to roll up small enough there's room for bikes in the bed with the pad. Anyone running something similar?

Fun writeup of the 2019 running of the "Stupid Pony" gravel "Not-a-race". I even make a cameo. 210 miles of washboard gravel was mildly unpleasant in my truck, those bikers were dedicated to the madness.

The "winner" took home a fabulous prize. A used haynes t-shirt with some sharpie art  Seriously

I saw that was a thing like a month before it happened. I am seriously stumped by the madness of the folks who ran it. I might get a gravel bike soon....maybe i'll run it this year.

It was pretty bananas to feed them and watch them go by. That's a no from me dawg. Having to shoo a coyote away from the bike path was the point where I decided I wasn't interested in doing it this year.

LOL, I stay strapped like 98% of the time, but I can never remember where along the PE you can shoot or not, and being next to a campground at Simpson Springs it didn't seem like a good idea to run the Beretta.

If I had any chance of riding that salsa more than you did I would consider it. But sadly my fat bike has just about as many miles on it if I'm generous.

I’m no racer or gold medalists but I enjoy “cruising” and wheeling my bikes. I’ve can do a 50 mile round trip and not loose too much comfort. I recommend these bars for sure. Very comfortable

Ok, my bikes usually end up stowed through the winter, but it's about time to drag them out and get them ready for spring riding. So with some chain lube talk above, what's everyone using? The SCC Slick is interesting. Not many reviews or tests on it though. I'm mountain biking in the PNW and I'm in need of something new. The spring for sure will include some wet drivetrains.

Two of my buddies have them. They absolutely love them. I just need to give them a try!

I use Rock n Roll for my bikes, but many in my area swear by T9 Boeshield as well
