Bead locks look so 80’s to me. But that’s just my opinion, get what makes you happy!

Wheels look great! I just ordered some bronze beadlocks for my cement '18 DCLB. I already have it setup to powder coat the rings stain black, but considering the center caps as well. I'm not sure what will look better, the natural aluminum or satin black center cap on my truck.

They are called ROCK RINGS for protection. The wheels are a bro term of Street Locks.

Was going to black out the center caps but ultimately decided to leave it alone, IMO the brushed aluminum finish provides a nice contrast. If it was chrome I would’ve deleted it on day one.

Does anyone know the torque spec on the beadlock bolts? I would think not very high, but it would be nice to know how tight to torque them.

I got 1.25” spidertrax too but not sure if it will rub a bunch. May leave them off and install myself. I have a “Pro” and the claim is that it sits higher. Looks like horseshit to me. Parked next to stock Tacomas and don’t really see it.

Me thinks you have a top plate spacer though.

Too many beers in me right now.

Math says those wheels and spacers equates to -19 offset.

ah hell, maybe I just do it and rub like a HS Freshman watching cheerleader practice

Dealer just used a little bit of blue LockTight and didn’t really torque it down all that much because I removed them w relative ease to get them powder coated and saw some blue Lock Tight residue.
If you intend to keep the ring on make sure they’re on for balancing.
I don’t know the torque spec but since they’re just cosmetic and not meant to hold down the actual bead I just lightly tightened them w Lock Tight. Waited a few weeks then double checked nothing was loose.

I've had a set in my closet that I bought with my SR, I think this spring they're finally going on.

Would a competent tire installer be able to work around pre-installed rings, or keep them off until after the tires are on?
