Oh that’s a good call. Do you guys use lockers when pulling people out or does it depend on the situation?

Tacoma struts and 4th Gen all use the same lower bushing, so they're interchangeable. A Tacoma strut on a V6 4th Gen 4runner would provide some lift, but hard to say how much. A 5th Gen lower strut bushing is 2mm thicker in the metal sleeve (longer sleeve length, not thickness), so they would have to add washers, although some guys just crank it down and hope for the best. It will end up moving at some point though, I'm sure. So they could just change out the lower bushings on a 5th gen 4runner.

The rear shocks are different though. Valving for a leaf spring is much different than valving for a coil spring. They would be really soft since leaf springs work harder than coils. Leaf springs use soft shocks, coils use firmer shocks, generally.

Well, let's see how this goes. Figure if it sucks, it only takes a click to delete it. hahaha No pressure whatsoever for you guys to join, only if you like those sort of pages. I like the ease of posting photos without doing a whole thread or whatever, so I figure that's what it will mostly be. I like sharing my knowledge with people wanting to listen, so that's the main priority here, and what comes along with that is also sales, and that's why it's worth spending time on it all at the end of the day.

Thanks guys for your input, I appreciate it a lot.

No worries. Here's what those rear shocks will fit.

    1st Gen Tundra 00-06
All Tacoma's of course 2nd and 3rd Gen

Probably fit a T100 too, but I've never tried it.

Well, finally finished a major mod that has been in the thought process for a few years. Cut out the spare tire holder under the bed in back and installed the dual battery/storage box. Take a look.

So what happens when you put on a cheap prefilter that's too small for your snorkel and vehicle and restricts the airflow?
