Should I buy this truck. 2017 Limited

Howdy folks. Been lurking around the forums a while and finally decided to take the plunge. Need some input on this truck.
It's a 2017 tacoma limited. It's about a 5 hour drive from me.
it has some kind of lift and wheels. It's a salvage title vehicle and it's a limited TRIM level. He is asking 20k. May go a little lower.
Miles 25k.
Just wanted to see what the pros think. Is it a good deal.

Really want to get a tacoma but damm they r pricey. Any input would be great.

 

Looks good in pics, but damn... salvage title and a lift for 20k. Hmm i dont know

Maybe makes more sense to spend few grand more and get something stock and with the clean title?

Think about when it comes time to sell, not many people would want taco with a salvage title. Thats how it is around here anyways.

You need to get a car fax or figure out why it's salvaged. Salvage title could mean it was deamed stolen or missing for a certain amount of time and nothing is physically wrong with the vehicle.

 

What was the damage? that's the first question you should ask

No it was in an accident front right was repaired.
Hence being salvage

cash out man! no regrets! y0l0!!!! Trust me. $20k for a use salvage title is not a good idea imo. thats half a price of a new tacoma!! With that money you can get to pick everything you want!

 

You can see the hood lines are not straight, so must have been front damage.

Edit: also the grille is from TRD line up.

 

Like I said salvage title doesn't always mean damage but if you have to ask someone for an opinion on this matter you WANT someone to make the decision for you. So go ahead and get it. It should be fine. Gaurentee.

well 20k is my budget max. Dont want to finance anything.. Been looking for a while. Clean title are minimum 27k and that's with high mileage.

Man, i would never drop 20k for a rebuilt truck, maybe 14-15 max. Makes more sense to spend a bit more and get yourself nice, unmolested taco that will last for a long time.

 

It’s pretty obvious from the photos it’s been hit...don’t expect it to drive and handle like one that hasn’t.

 

Run away from this deal as fast as humanly possible. Can you say salvaged title? On the other hand, it’s your decision...

 

Just have some patience! The right Taco will come to you! trust me Maybe it won't be a 3rd gen! maybe a 1st? or a 2nd? fuck it maybe a 4runner! LOL
