I was merging on the interstate and I got over then the Buick slammed on his breaks and in my head I was like "fuck this is gonna be close" and as it got class as hell I got hit by the truck behind me, he was still going at a pretty good rate.

The front end had damage but hard to see through pictures, one headlight internals don't work anymore, the hood doesn't line up with the lights or the grille right anymore, also there is oil leaking around the housing that connects the oil filter
What do y'all think of the damage?

Thank you! I appreciate, it was a three car accident no injuries besides now later on in getting some neck and back pain. Nothing major

It's totaled, ship it to me and I'll mail you a check for $500.

In all seriousness, glad everyone is OK, should be a simple fix.

Im hoping for a simple fix but with things bit lining up right im worried, also there is some paint that got taken off on the cab it looks like the bed did hit the cab and remove that paint. Also worried about the oil that is leaking from looks like the housing that connects the oil filter to the engine

Look at that POS Chevy's damage compared to yours..... Glad your alright. I'd almost take the insurance money and source the parts yourself. Pocket the change and fund a new upgrade. When somebody damaged my rear bumper I went to the most expensive body shop, got a quote for 1300 bucks to repair it. A new bumper (oem) on fleabay was 300 bucks. Unfortunately for me, the other person didnt have insurance.... so I only got 60 bucks for it after my deductible

Don't know why that accident would have anything to do with oil leaking from the oil filter area.

There was a collision in the front too I was sandwiched between two cars, but I'm kind of confused why it is leaking oil as well It wasn't leaking oil before at all and now it is spraying in the engine bay and dripping out

2 main concerns are rear frame is tweaked and unexplained oil leak. With the vast front end damage of the other truck, the concern is that his front end might have impacted part of your tow hitch assembly, which could tweaked the frame. There's no pic of your front end damage so hard to guess on where the oil leak is coming from or what type of oil it is (trans cooler oil is my guess)

The front damage doesn't look bad at all, but when you take the closer look that's when you notice the areas that don't line up, the largest noticeable part is the gap on the headlight that I posted, the headlight is still tight none I can see neither of the top two brackets is broken it just looks to tweaked the body lines even upfront. From the different people I've talked to that has seen the truck in person is thinking there is frame damage.

Glad to hear you’re ok, but sad that they’re gonna total your truck. All about a cash grab for the insurance companies that’s why it’s so easy for them to total out vehicles nowadays.

Turns out they changed their mind they aren't going total it but at this rate, i would rather have it just be gone, gonna sit in a shop for who knows how long, rather just go buy a new Tacoma and upgrade it. im so fucking done with this shit.

Definitely get looked at by a doctor...if you're feeling that now it could get a lot worse down the road if you don't get it looked at.
