That looks awesome, nicely done. Was it difficult to remove the dash parts?

Installed some hood gas props. Finally got my windoor sliders Leer failed to install when I bought my topper (they installed standard windoors). A while back I got a 27f battery, so you get a picture of that also like it or not.20200227_155708.jpg 20200227_155734.jpg 20200227_155721.jpg

And the most important mod of all: starting the sticker collection.

Which Model Leer do you have? I have gotten mixed returns as to whether I can replace standard sliding windows with Windoors on my Leer XR. One dealer said yes, another said no. Email from Leer says probably yes.

I will share what I know. I ordered my 100RCC with windoor sliders. Leer prepared me for a new topper, but shipped the replacements to attempt to swap them out, which was successful. When I queried how Leer could manufacturer a topper and not know if the replacements would fit, the answer I got was they are the same dimensionally, some times they just won't fit. The girl at the dealership said she was fairly sure the Tacoma toppers were the only ones that they made the cutouts for the windows the same size because it a popular retrofit. I know this doesn't give you an answer, but my understanding is Leer couldn't even give a 100% on replacement. Maybe at least gives some insight into the lack of solid answers you are getting.

Today, all I did was put the LandShark into 4x4, because welcome to Hoth...

Not too much snow, but the squalls were remarkable...

Mounted a FTM-400 HAM radio on the Expedition Essentials 3TPAM rack. The updated rack has recessed USB ports, great addition. Antenna it mounted on a Cali Raised CB extension for the ditch lights.

Just some little details today.... Cleaned up and painted my rusty battery hold down. Ground down the bracket that rubs on the coolant bypass hose and painted it.

If you have a Costco membership, they have pretty good prices, that’s where I got mine. But I may not have shopped around enough. In the deals and coupons forum I think there is a thread for a coupon on auto anything’s site.

Help me out with that antenna mount? I have CBI ditch brackets, but I can't find the antenna extension on their website.

Nice radio! My 3TPAM ships tomorrow, I'm pretty excited about it.

OV Tune, cali raised rock sliders, 12v power outlets and usb in bed cubby, , Group 27 battery with monitor and solar port for charging, Bed lights, pop n lock for tail gate,
brackets are hand made out of flat bar stock from home depo, 1” wide by 1/8th thick I believe. Mounts are quick fists which you can get anywhere online and hardware came from home depot to mount to accessory rail blocks. Little paint and primer to prevent rust and look good.

Is there a known thread outlining the blacking out of the chrome inside the back tail lights? That chrome has got to go.

    Two questions:

Did you drill into your Diamondback Cover to mount your crossbars, or did you use something like KB Voodoo’s rack system and mount the bars from underneath?

Do you still have any fold with the DBC, or is it pretty stationary now with the bars and RTT on top?
