Thanks for the approval for the old silver stuff. And I do believe in (Ta)karma as most of my best finds are while helping others look for trucks and parts. I found that wrecked SRunner filled with seats and a rear sway bar while shopping for a regular cab for my Mom actually!

Ohh, I just meant "threads" as in I have various projects running simultaneously (wheels, seats, drop, radio, grill, tilt column, cluster, etc. etc), not that you were falling behind on posts or anything.. but no hassle at all my friend.

In fact, I just updated my signature to keep you and the "world" abreast!!

    While I'm here..

Hmm. Thanks for the info. I was more liking the 400$ a set price but I'll keep that into consideration.

Finished installing this, half way through replacing the upstream A/F sensor.

All I can say is my welder is my favorite tool I ever bought. No way those exhaust stud nuts were coming off without it.

I hope you spend a few hours at the mall applying more stickers, because you need a LOT more.

It wouldn't be there if I didn't already test it... I got that resi location idea from a 3rd gen 4runner that runs 37's. I then mocked it all up and cycled the suspension with no coilover. That's why I had ADS set up the hose that way, though It's a hair too long than what I originally requested. But even with all the testing I did, there is of course a risk it still rubs and if that's the case that's on me. ;)

Shouldn’t rub too bad, but it will get sand blasted in that location. Might be worth putting a shield of some sort on the front of it.

Thanks for the vote for more silver. I think it looks great as is but I definitely prefer the look of more OEM silver up front.

My corner lamps dont even match at this time, but I did get this beauty and the final missing piece for the front in TODAY!
    20200228_120641.jpg

The rear bumper would be nice too of course.. but I am not into the aftermarket stuff and it is tough to find the original stuff in good shape. Wish me luck hunting, or I may just have my original painted when the time comes. :fingerscrossed:

Hahaha touché...that’s pretty dang good. I do regret Moving on from this gem I’ve had for 8 years. I’d keep the gen 1, but have a good opportunity to get ahold of a gen2 w 4x4

I run mine in that spot with no issues. Any other spot and your tire will rub like crazy on the resi. Not sure why that isn’t the standard spot for 1st gens.

yeah I wish I knew about your setup before I put my order in for my custom routing. Would have saved me the headache, but by the time I saw yours my order was placed. I’d love the hose a half inch shorter to bring it closer into the coilover itself.

yeah I wouldn’t be able to run the mcm kit cause Of the tc uca gussets, and running 35’s in stock wheels lol

My passenger side does rub though but because of installation error, I was in a rush when I welded the brackets on. I took my time on this side and will redo the passengers soon.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

    Nice!

How did they line up with the mounting holes? My front skid is off just enough to piss me off every time I have to do anything with them.

Great job getting that cap off on your own. I had to beg my neighbors to come and help me to take mine on and off when I painted it. That looks exactly like the cap that I just bought. Who makes it?
