I love my MT and I do 95% city driving.

I love the fact that my taco shift when I want it to shift.

Buying any Tacoma is a bad idea when everyone is aware of Toyota's problems with their frames and nothing is being done about it. We are all stupid or dumb to this fact. $40000 wasted for something that may or may not last. A little CRC covers up the problem but Toyota hasn't fixed the problem and wont as long as we are dumb enough to continue buying these trucks.
I really do like mine and plan on keeping it but I thought they fixed the frame problem when I bought it. If I would have known otherwise there would have been a 17 Ridgeline in my driveway instead. It was a toss between the two and I went with the Tacoma because I wanted a truck with a frame. How ironic.

I'm 67 and have driven manuals most of my entire life. I have a 2016 manual tacoma I bought new. Even though I considered myself experienced in driving a manual there was a significant learning curve to the Tacoma. I have 55K miles on it and am able to shift now with no clunking or jerking. It shifts as smooth as my BMW M3 6 speed manual.

I take everything RobMotive says with a grain of salt. He’s kind of ridiculous.

All I got out of this is one “millennial” calling another “millennial” out for being 7 years older than him. When in reality their both “millennials”. Oh and that the mt’s clunk :notsure:

You should see a gyno about those irregular periods.

If North Korea dropped an EMP, your fried car would likely be the least of your worries.

The best thing about this whole manual vs. automatic debate? The Tacoma gives you a choice. Just get what's best for you.

You have to watch the whole thing for him to get the views?

    Serious question.
