I just picked up a good handful of IBIO to see where it goes. Not a lot, but hey....Why not?

 

And this was pretty much what I expected today. It will be interesting to see if it holds around this range most of the day. I'm down about 3.7% for the week so it's not as bad as the markets. Next week will give us a better clue as to how long this will last.

 

We will know by Monday night just how fucked we are

 

I will say if I was planning in retiring very soon I would be sweating.

I guess I just postponed my retirement to 2022. Fuck me.

 

YESSSS THIS. I have been meaning to look at market data and see how it corresponds with alarmist SARS/MERS/Ebola/H1N1 articles as they come out. I still haven't done that yet..

 

They're similar declines to this. If this goes to 30%, well this time maybe it is different, but this has played out exactly like those so far.

 

any links you care to share? I'm not even sure what keywords to google. Interested in the % declines or corresponding articles as they come out with certain market behavior

I don't remember ANY of these because I wasn't in the market. Kind of tells you how much they really matter in normal life.

 

We are at about a 15% pullback from ATHs... wondering if that's enough? I have a feeling we still are due for some additional "scary" articles first..

looks like it's settling down.. 10% gain today is timid compared to the last few days.

IBIO has made me quite the chunk of change this morning.

 

My returns so far in the market:

2018: -19%
2019: +30%
2020: Not looking good

But looking at historical charts, who cares really? This is the price you pay, just stay the course and it will all work out.

 

I have no idea how correlated this is and whether or not this means anything, but SPX looks like it's trying to get back up into the lower main area of this bull channel I created several months ago.

 

I am down 17K so far over the last 4 days so what's another $500 is my rationale

 

Your portfolio is probably similar size to mine, I am down just under $20k I think.
