    Ruggs was unsung.

Jeudy got a BUNCH of hype early on. (Mostly due to his size and near perfect route running.)

Ruggs just quietly did his thing.

The 2018-2019 season was where I remember stating to my friends and family that Ruggs was actually better than Jeudy, and I wondered why they didnt go to him more often.

I think he started his career 10 for 11. 10 touchdowns in 11 catches. Thats UNREAL.

I was absolutely shocked that Devonta Smith decided to stay. Same with Najee Harris.

Honestly, after those two decided to stay, I was then shocked that Tua decided to enter the draft.

He could have come back to Najee Harris, Devonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle, along with a few other top recruit talents at WR.

That is a LOT of talent RETURNING in skill positions for Alabama.

You put 225 up that many times, lock out or not, you’re a beast.

The RB's that returned didn't make much sense IMO, especially in that position which has a short career span as is most of the time.

I dunno....Alabama went through a period where people thought they worked the RB's too much and used them up.

That, I believe has really been proven incorrect with the success of Mark Ingram, TJ Yeldon, Kenyon Drake and Derrick Henry.

(Basically, Trent Richardson was a dumb ass with too many off the field issues and Eddie Lacy wouldnt stop eating....)

Najee didnt really get that many touches last year, until Tua got hurt. Plus he split time early in his career. With Trey Sanders healthy this year, he will probably split carries again, and they still have other offensive options in the passing game now, as compared to previous teams that didnt have prolific QB's and WR's in that number.

Najee will have the opportunity to finish his degree, which was important to his grandmother (probably a big deciding factor for him) and display more of his athletic abilities while attempting to win another natty.

I can see it from both perspectives. Take the money and run, as well as stay and finish your business.

if you’re that fast, routes don’t matter that much. “Hey kid, go run a 9. Let’s see if you can outrun the ball.” Mecole wasn’t a bad receiver, but he appears better than he probably is because of his speed.

It just makes him more predictable than say, Jeudy.

"Ruggs is gonna run straight and fast....so.........be prepared, back off a bit."

    whereas with Jeudy....

"We have no clue what the hell he is gonna do. It wont be as fast as Ruggs, but, still fast and we dont know where he is going....so....good luck."

I get that. But at a 4.27 straight line, he’s gonna run past everyone anyway. Give him a cushion and he can run a quick out. Press him and he’s past you after 5 yards anyway. He’ll have a decent career. Won’t be a #1, but he’ll be a playmaker for whoever picks him up. Again, like Mecole. Wasn’t a #1, but made plays.

I never tried going past 10 because I was doing sets, but I have an appreciation for how heavy 225 gets after 4-6 reps. Anyone who says otherwise is talking out their ass or lives that life and isn’t a normal human haha.

Haha facts. I am slowly turning into one of the guys that can only talk about what they used to do...and people look at me like “doubt it”... but I have a strong appreciation for all these lifts because of what I’ve done in the past

I feel like he grew up quickly after that. Or at least I’m just hopeful. But yeah, if he comes back this year pulling the same stuff then we need to move forward with guys we can count on.
