While we're here: anyone figured out how to turn up the lock/unlock beep? Could do it OEM. Thought I had found it in the Dasaita, but it's at top setting and doesn't appear to change anything turning it down.

 

I was able to turn mine down in Dasaita setting fwiw. Not sure if I could make it louder than stock tho.

 

Do you remember what the setting was called? I'm trying to remember what I was adjusting, but it was a while ago.

I escaped for lunch. Under the control settings app there's a volume back door setting and alert volume. I think the alert volume is for the parking sensors. The other doesn't seem to do anything.

Hey, so, I posted earlier that my Dasaita HU stopped working a few weeks ago. I bought it in September, and it worked really well and then just died about two weeks ago.

I bought it off of aliexpress, and they initially responded to my request for a refund or replacement, they asked me to send them a video, which i did. They have since started completely ghosting me. I can see that they have read my messages, but they don't reply.

I highly caution anyone buying anything from aliexpress without appreciating that you might be getting junk.

I think my next option is to take it up with VISA. Such a pain.

 

Anyone run this with a Sirius xm tuner?

 

You can't. It would be pointless anyway. You would use the app for this.

 

Hey guys not sure if this has been discussed already but I have a px6 with CarPlay built in (the chip). I installed an update to the unit and it had a newer version of Zlink and now for some reason every time I start my car Zlink starts automatically and CarPlay starts, which is not a bad thing but I don’t want to use CarPlay all the time. Is there any way to disable Zlink from auto-launching? It was not doing this before the update. Thanks!

 

My unit starts with zlink automatically if it was shut down with zlink open. What version of zlink are you running? I'll compare it against mine. Also, where did you get the update?

 

Mine just starts automatically no matter if it was open or closed prior. The version is 3.5.24 and I got the update straight from the manufacturer (Sygav). The devices are pretty much the same as Dasaita.

 

How much difference is there between the PX5 and PX6?

 

turn off BT but not sure you can disable it. It does that to me too. Did it before and after a recent update. Also if needs wifi you could turn off wifi and i think that will disable carplay. There is also a carplay setting you enabled initially. You could disable it then choose to enable when you want to use it.

 

cant recall exactly but PX6 has a faster processor and more ram from what I remember. Px6 has built in DSP i recall px5 did not. i went with the px6 due to more ram and saw comments it ran smoother with the newer chip.

 

Yeah I’ve tried everything, that’s just for CarPlay. Zlink still automatically launches.

 

I've read this entire thread. Maybe I missed it but have not seen where someone put this unit in a 2020. I'm very interested but concerned on fitment. I could not trust myself to trim bezels lol
