    I received my shipment today and the packaging was fantastic. Fast turn around from the date I ordered it. Look forward to the stage 2's when they become available in a weld it yourself kit.

    Mine shipped yesterday, looking forward to the same.

    Nothing official, but I would expect to see a stage 2 add-on kit sooner then later after speaking with SSO staff this week.

    They are super friendly!

    Looking forward to ordering that kit

    Black Friday orders were simply ridiculous this year, but I believe we've finally got everyone or nearly everyone in the fabrication process now. No doubt our lead times played a part in the creation of Armageddon Armor. Now folks can decide if they want to tackle it themselves or wait for us to do it perfectly.

    What! No confidence in my welding skills?

    I don't have confidence in my welding skills either since I don't know how to weld. But my welder at work is going to do it for me on a weekend for a couple cases of Coors. :thumbsup:

    Biggest thing is proper wire/settings. Technique isnt too difficult, but having incorrect settings will really screw things up.

    What kind of welder are you using/wire?

    No offence to the fabricators, for sure, but we have to separate the quality people have come to expect out of SSO away from Armageddon Armor. That way, if it is a newbie teaching himself, it doesn't unintentionally affect the SSO brand.

    No, I definitely understand that. Makes sense that it is under a different brand as well. Have seen nothing but great quality posted by you guys thus far.

    As far as the welder is concerned I just ordered a new ESAB for work for uh..."different projects". My welder/fabricator has been welding for years and is very capable. My post was more in jest than anything. I don't doubt that the guys as SSO who do this specific welding everyday are going to be better than my guy.
