Think I ran into a unique issue; there are these two “brackets” behind the OEM cubby panel, and you can see the topmost left and right switch holes on my custom panel line up in front of those. It looks like they will get in the way, making those switch holes unable to operate/install switches :-(

Not sure I can actually fit switches in those, any thoughts guys?

You need to cut those out. Pretty simple to do, just take your time.

Thanks for the input, are those brackets used for anything else, other style OEM cubbies or something?

Not sure, I had the same exact OEM cubby you do.
Just as an FYI, I took a really sharp knife and just slowly rocked my way through the stuff.

Depending on how many switches you have in the upper section, trimming will be needed. The stock dash was never designed for this many side to side. My panel will hold on solid even with the plastic trimmed... no worries. Here’s a quick pic on where you typically would have to trim if there are a packed row.
Super easy, just take a razor blade and slowly cut away the plastic.

Should still hold even if one or two of the clips snap off, yes?

When you ask "hold" I am assuming you mean the panel will snap in and hold in place, if you have one (or both) brackets removed, then yes you will be fine.

My custom panel fit with the two brackets not trimmed at all, but in my case they block the use of two switch holes. Glad to know all I gotta do is trim them and problem solved for my issue!

BUT- those brackets do not impact the panel from holding or snapping into place; your fine if you have one or both brackets removed :)

Any reason for the shipping delay? Order 25793. Placed on the 24th with no shipping notification still.

Anyone else have the same experience?

It says on the product page there's a 2-3 week lead time. Or it said that somewhere.

Doh! You're right. Guess when I ordered that morning before my coffee I assumed they were stocked like the other parts.

    I'm an idiot

I got BBBB up top and haven't tried putting it in yet. I know with 5 you have to cut, but do you need to with only 4?

Darn was hoping to avoid cutting it up, but I'll need the spaces so...

    Thanks for the info/confirmation.

Are you able to move the switch pro all the way to the left and add a B switch on the right?
