I would assume so but that might be a better question to ask the megathread of people who are swapping. Since mine came from the factory I don't have experience with the swap..

There is a slight difference. The color for the 2020 is more gunmetal than black. There is also gunmetal wrapping around the edge of the red plastic for the brake light. 2020 on the left, 2019 on the right.

Nope. Despite what their site says, all 2020 LED headlight equipped Tacomas have sequential turn signals. That was one of the things I looked into when buying. I have the "non-Pro" LED headlights on my Sport and they are sequential as well. The only difference apparently is that Toyota don't advertise this feature for the non-Pro trucks. ;)

Btw there are several YouTube videos showing this from dealer lots, etc.

I've done some digging and think I understand all of this now. It appears as though the sequential option that doesn't exist on any other trim level is the side mirrors. That being said, I still don't understand why if all of the trucks have sequential turn signals, there two different LED headlight designs. Only one of which has sequential turn signals. Riddle me that.

The LED headlight equipped trucks all have the same functionality, including the turn signals. Unless I am missing something, the only difference is that the PRO headlights have the PRO badging inside and have the blacked out strip instead of chrome. Functionally, they are all the same. (you can see the mirrors around the 1min mark)

I get that. This is now an academic question... Explain to me why there are two different LED headlamp styles and the Toyota Parts Catalogue says one has sequential turn signals and the other doesn't.

The different part numbers are the Pro and Non-Pro versions. The PRO one listed there has the PRO badging, the other does not. As we've discussed, they both have sequential turn signals, despite what the website says. I actually ordered the non-pro set using those part numbers myself, and I have sequential turn signals.

Bottom line? Toyota just need to correct the description on that part. It's a different part because of the badging, but not functionally. Or maybe it was supposed to not work on the non-Pro and someone s

Toyota have been a little hit and miss with marketing some of the features in the mid-cycle Tacoma refresh this year. The "remote start" is a similar issue. It's only advertised as a feature on the PRO (and maybe Limited?), but any Sport or OR that has the tech package will also have OEM remote start using the keyfob. Again, my Sport is an example of that. I didn't even know I had it until 2 weeks after I had it home and I read about the feature on these boards! lol

    815x0-04180 - 2016-2017 TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road
    815x0-04181 - 2018-2020 SR, SR5; 2018-2019 TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road
    815x0-04190 - 2016-2019 Limited
    815x0-04200 - 2017-2019 TRD Pro
    815x0-04210 - 2020 TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road
    815x0-04220 - 2020 Limited
    815x0-04230 - 2020 TRD Pro

Trying to figure out why the parts catalog says the thing that it says is an unending academic pursuit, I wish you well.

My vote goes to the bottom 3 tail lights; they match the sequential turn signals of the headlights. Looks cool.

Do you know what the deal is with the 2020 pro rims are in Canada? My dealer says they’re on a “stop sell” and he’s not able to order them. They also want like $360 cdn a wheel vs us dealers selling them for 196us which is like $265 CDN
