Alabama thread!

I’m already at that point. Going to go this afternoon or first thing tomorrow morning. Also came to conclusion I have to have new UCAs unless they can get my wheel pushed forward as the suspension is built now. I’ve beat pinch weld and remolded plastic fender liner as flat as it can possibly be and still rub when I hit a bump while turning.

 

We don’t have a TPMS in our spare? Well sheeit, my 2nd gen spare has a TPMS in it.

Is anyone interested in going with us this summer. Ive had several folks show interest but nothing solid yet. As you know i dont like to travel alone especialy with my family in tow. Got some fun but slightly rough trails planned and would like to have folks with me if something were to happen. Its june 20th through july 5th. Not expecting folks to be able to do the whole thing with us but if anyone wants to jump in for part of it i promise ill make it worth the drive. Good views and fun times.

 

Wish I could buddy that’s gonna be a fantastic time. Already have our one vacation lined up and home Reno and wedding planning are making this be a very slim year of doing other stuff.

 

Dude, I wish I could take my wife and kid out there and travel with y’all, but it looks like 2021 will be the soonest we could take a Moab trip!

 

Wish yoy could to. Im not trying to force anyone, just giving folks the opportunity to ride along on what i think will be a pretty good route.

 

Wish i could go this year and next lol. We are only doing 2-3 days in moab. We are starting in flagstaff and back country driving all the way to moab then over to the alpine loop in colorado.

Got my Megasquirt board made for my carb to fuel injection conversion on my Samurai.



The guy making my flange to mount the Toyota Corolla throttle body cut it today.


And the flange that connects it all to the Samurai intake.

Getting closer, should give me a little more power and won't flood out anymore going down steep hills.

 

Holy crap, your telling me thats one of the 4runners from expedition overland and its in alabama. I watched them build that thing. Thats awesome

 

Yep, James is from here but moving to Washington state. We talked for quite a while.
