I’ve got 5100s all around, when I was getting my frame replaced I drove a 2020 SR5 and thought the stiffness was more to my liking than my trd-or. I don’t know if that’s just sr5 vs off-road or just the fact that it was a brand new suspension vs an 11 year old one hah.

I haven't driven an off road but I feel I wouldn't like it. I quite enjoy the tighter steering of the Sport and it has never been a major hindrance when I'm offroad

I’ve heard the sport is nicer to drive on road, and maybe I’d agree, but I’ve only driven a couple sr5s and a couple off-roads. I didn’t need to get an off-road but the price was right on mine, I loved the color and it came along when I needed it. I like the wheels, I like the tow package, and the hood scoop on the sport isn’t for me, so no regrets on getting the OR. The locker has gotten me out of a few messes on the farm too haha. I can upgrade suspension someday. Maybe that will be my 200k mile celebration.

You have so much more need for an OR than me, considering what you're hauling. The crappiest stuff I ever went through was a deep puddle on a dirt road that I almost sank into. Otherwise I keep it restricted to the beach

My truck has some brand of AAL but I'm not sure which ones. It towed my sprint boat fine.

I've been running the Wheeler's AAL with TSB and Fox RR shocks for a little over two years now. I have had no issues and have been very pleased with it. Initially, I left the overload leaf in, but I did remove the overload leaf after about two weeks. I feel it road nicer with the overload leaf in it, but I didn't want the additional rear end height so I removed it. I run a Leer cap and an ATH Fab high clearance wrap around rear bumper so I have additional weight.
