Well I’ve recouped half of what I lost moving some moola around today. Selling off some places adding in others and even picking up a few new players.

 

people speculating the last minute tick up was short covering.. I don't doubt it. It's risky either way over the weekend

 

This shit has turned me bipolar I think. If we shoot back up I'll be manic next week.

 

I've enjoyed the show so far.

 

Dow jumped up 650 points within ten minutes after Powell issued statement that the fed is assessing the market situation

 

I wonder if people like Warren Buffett have the same self-depreciating humor when they lose billions of dollars in a week.

 

Exciting week for sure. I didnt get too hung up on losses, just sold some of my longest held holdings that weren't doing too well anyway to have some extra cash. Still made 266%+ on my money since buying them in 2012. Other than that I watched some trader bros youtube stream and it was fascinating to watch evreything move as each report came out, good live commentary on it. Just trying to absorb WTF is going on with options for my own curiosity, this situation is way too active for me to try my hand at it right now.

Need to keep a close eye on when to jump back in and bargan shop for some long holdings.

 

I think the market will rally if they do a rate cut, but it will be short lived.

These rate cuts are at the point where they're not really helping the American consumer

 

Yup, more headlines coming out that are "bad".. new cases popping up in certain states. Like I said, once the whole damn country has it, and cases start to settle off, I'll be buying back in. So far, Twitter has been a shit show of new developments. Shitty Chinese PMI numbers, second confirmed case in California, now Texas, Oregon. You see the trend here. Play the trend.

HIV/AIDS seemed a whole lot worse than any of these pandemics you guys are bringing up, with lots of deaths and chronic illness, but i don't see people staying out of the market because it's still around. Worst case scenario i see corona going similar to that route where it becomes just another illness that can be had. Regular cold or corona cold lol

 

How the hell is that anywhere close to relevant? HIV has very specific ways of transmission. You don’t just go to the store and accidentally get BFed into an hiv infection

 

KInda what i'm getting at. We know that now, nobody knew that when it first came around and everyone was losing their shit in fear of it
