Wait....you mean drill hole in bracket, so configuration matches? Seems like there is too much room for error there and bumper could easily become unbalanced.

FYI, Fourwheelparts.com is not taking any responsibility and says that they just take info from manufacturers website. They want me to contact manufacturer. Shit's a complete waste of time...Anyone know of sturdy rear bumper that will for sure fit 2019 SR model? All of this because some bitch rear ended me at stoplight.

Here is the bracket that came with the new bumper...as you can see, the spacing and configuration is for receiver bolt configurations that match the one in the second photo I posted, that has 3 bolts in a tight triangle configuration. As you can see from my first post with the first photo, my stock receiver bolt configuration is only 2 bolts that are spaced differently than the bracket received with the new bumper. I removed the 3rd one that is further to the rear because I followed the instructions on the new bumper's manual that said to, "remove three bolts on each side." Fuck I am pissed. I am looking at driving to work for at least a week now with no rear bumper.

So the new bumper has more bolt holes? Does the new bumper have a built-in hitch receiver? I think the answer is to just install the bolts in the locations that accept them.

What's the part number of the bumper you purchased?

I think you're looking at the wrong end of the bracket.

Thank you for trying to help, but see how those bots are in a tight triangular configuration? My stock 2019 SR receiver only has two tight bolt holes and they are distanced further apart and can no way fit the bracket that came with the Fab Fours Premium bumper that I have pictured above.

Yes, this is normal. 4WP didn't make the bumper and is not responsible for making sure that it fits properly. If you bought it somewhere else they would also say the same thing.

The Curt hitch does not use the same brackets as the Toyota hitch if that's what you're asking. Since your truck didn't have the tow package you didn't have a hitch receiver right? What "stock receiver" are you talking about since your truck didn't come out of the factory with one?

Thank you for your response....My beef with the seller is that their site claimed fitment.

Maybe I am calling the part pictured in my first post a receiver when it is not. The part in question is the metal part of the frame where there are only 2 bolts and a third that is set further to the rear (which had been removed in the photo)

So that bracket is used to attach the bumper to the frame? Did you take it off and see what it looks like or look at the frame from the other side? I thought that all of the Tacomas used two frames now since the 5-lug is gone and all of the mounting points should be the same. In any case, there is nothing that 4WP can do; they aren't going to physically install every single component they sell to verify fitment. Fab Fours is who you should be asking question to.

So you bought a bumper that specifically says:
Then when you try to install it on a truck without the factory receiver, it's some how 4wp or Fab Fours fault and it's also some bitches fault for rear ending you so you had to get an aftermarket bumper instead of the factory bumper??? Got it.

Just get your tape measure out, get your drill out, drill some new holes, if they need to be threaded then go to the local hardware store and pickup a tap and maybe some oil. Boom, problem solved. BTW, I'm sure you also know this, the fab fours bumper is made to go on a lifted truck, so any sensors (your SR may not have them) will be calibrated wrong if you're not lifted.

So you must be the resident asshole? Nice. Please correct me if I am wrong, but I thought a tow package was just an an engine oil cooler, automatic transmission fluid cooler, Trailer Sway Control, 4 & 7 pin converter, a 130-amp alternator, and a Class IV receiver hitch; provided by Toyota? None of these things would change the amount of threaded bolt holes on the frame, right? Also, to be clear, I not only confirmed fitment of my model with the Fab Four Website and 4WP website, but I also called the customer service line at 4WP and told them my exact model, that I did not have a tow package; but instead an aftermarket receiver hitch (remember that brackets don't attach to receiver hitch), and they STILL told me that it would fit and I would have no problems.

Yep...the bracket is used to attach the bumper to the frame. I tried it on both sides, backwards, forwards, upside down....no fitment. Not a CHANCE of fitment.

Sure, I have no problem with that.

    Gladly
    you clearly thought wrong

Hmmm....obviously the class IV hitch changes the number of thread holes, so no you're wrong.

    .

You suck at the internet then because it's very clearly says on their website that a factory receiver is required and a the tow package is required. https://fabfours.com/product/toyota-tacoma-premium-rear-bumper/

As much as I hate 4wp, it's not their product, they can only relay fitment of what they're told. If you had done any research on the bumper, you would have seen that the factory tow package is required.

Your option now is to own it and correct it. It's only metal and a simple drill and tap would solve your issue. Instead you want to blame everyone but the person who's responsibility it is to buy the correct shit for their own vehicle.

That is actually a super helpful answer...asshole. So you are saying that if I were to have had a tow package included on my truck, that the bolt configuration on the first photo I posted would be the 3 tight triangle one on the frame instead of the 2? Is that what makes it class IV? Nope...not gonna drill any holes in bracket...needs to be perfect for bumper alignment and I'll definitely fuck it up. Guess I take it back and look for another steel bumper that does not have those requirements. Any suggestions? I'm still not 100% that I believe you...does anyone care to corroborate his belief?

By the way, the blame other people all the time thing is genetic....I blame my father.

I dont have helpful info for your problem but I was wondering what your location is.
Did you order the bumper with or without sensor holes? Assuming without since you have a sr.

If you cant return the bumper and you're in so cal, let me know, I may buy it off you
